A Gift Worth Giving

Change Lives Today.

The Conestoga Valley Education Foundation (CVEF) was formed in 1991 to encourage creativity and educational excellence in the classrooms of Conestoga Valley School District. Since its inception, CVEF has awarded more than $1,000,000 in grants to students, teachers and administrators. The programs and projects supported by these grants would not have been possible through regular school district budgets.

ALUMNI CONNECTION

our impact

"As I visit various classrooms around our school district, I see the impact of CVEF as being greater than any other initiative I have witnessed in my more than 30 years in education. Teachers are embracing new teaching strategies that have engaged and motivated our students to learn."
-Gerald G. Huesken, Ed.D., CVEF Executive Director

"A CVEF grant allows my fifth-grade class to videoconference with fourth- and fifth-graders from Lancashire, England, and an expert from NASA. We’ve been able to expand our horizons from the classroom and visit places that we’d never see on a field trip."
-Rick Jones, Fifth-Grade Teacher
